When Custom / As-Built may fit

For planning, budgeting, files, and unusual property scope.

Custom / As-Built work is designed for architects, designers, contractors, investors, and other professionals who need more field information than either standard report provides. It may also fit detached structures or property conditions that do not map cleanly to a Basic or Detailed order.

This is not sold from a fixed public price table. The property, intended use, required dimensions, file formats, photographic needs, access, and deadline are reviewed before a scope and quote are offered.

Scope before schedule

Define what the measured information must support.

A Custom request begins with the intended professional use—not with an assumed package. This keeps the visit, deliverables, and quote aligned.

  1. 01

Describe the property and intended use

Share the full address, approximate area, structures involved, and whether the information supports concept planning, budgeting, design, contracting, investment analysis, or another purpose.

  2. 02

    Identify the required deliverables

Confirm PDF needs, measured interior detail, detached structures, photography, DXF, room information, and any special dimensions. No file format or photographic record is assumed silently.

  3. 03

    Review access, timing, and quote

The business confirms whether the work is available, how access will be provided, the expected field time, the delivery target, and the quoted amount before acceptance.

Plan the scope

Confirm the deliverables before we measure.

Custom work is planned around the property, intended use, required files, access, and delivery schedule.

01

Property and purpose

Share the property type, structures involved, intended professional use, and any special measurements needed.

02

DXF and photography

DXF files and an optional interior/exterior photographic record may be included when specified in the quote.

03

Timing

Custom / As-Built projects normally require five to seven business days after the scope is confirmed. We’ll provide the expected delivery date with the quote.

04

Access and field conditions

Interior access is essential for the described measured scope. Areas that cannot be accessed reasonably cannot be reported. Call to arrange the access method before the visit.

Measurement and correction

Field records are reconciled before delivery.

Tape and laser tools are used, and reference photographs may be taken when required and permitted. Exterior and interior measurements are checked as the plan is produced. If dimensions do not close, the records are reviewed and the property may need another visit.

Delivery may be delayed rather than knowingly sending information that cannot be verified confidently. Customers should report suspected errors promptly so the data can be reviewed and checked on site when necessary. The delivery format and schedule are confirmed with the quote.

Custom / As-Built

Start with the property and required output.

Describe the professional need, structures, file format, timing, and access constraints. The business can then confirm whether the work is available and prepare the appropriate quote.
